  9. This is a message from Miss Dizon, advisor for National Junior Honor Society at Ross Middle School.  If you are in the 7th or 8th grade and interested in applying to become a new member of the 2020-21 NJHS this information pertains to you. Applications for this year's NJHS are available online through the Student Hub.  The application process for this school year has been modified.   (Applicants may still submit the initial application shared previously if they choose to do so.)  The new due date for applications is now Wednesday, September 30th 3:00pm and all must be submitted to the office by that date and time.  You will notice a reduction in the required number of service hours and recommendations needed for the new application.  Service opportunities can include a variety of activities. Some examples include working in the community, writing cards to senior citizens, unpaid babysitting, to collecting items as donations for churches, schools, or other community events.  We understand that the times are different and the restrictions in place due to the current situation have made it difficult for some individuals to complete their service hours.  If you have any questions or concerns about the service portion of the application or any other questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Dizon (rina.dizon@rossrams.com).  Good luck to all our applicants!

  10.
