Superintendent of Schools
Scott Gates comes to Ross from the Finneytown School District where he served as the Director of Student Services. Scott served as an elementary school principal for fourteen years in the Forest Hills School District and the Little Miami School District. He also served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Scott received his undergraduate degree at BGSU, his Master's degree at the University of Dayton and his superintendent licensure at Xavier University. Scott has also served as an adjunct professor at University of Cincinnati, Xavier, University of Dayton and Ashland University.
John Kinsel has over seven years of experience as a Treasurer and has been at Ross since August 2015. He also has business experience in banking and accounting.
John received his bachelor’s degree from Franklin University in Business Administration and Accounting. He resides in Hamilton with his wife Kimberly and they are the parents of four daughters.
Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Becky Tompkins has worked in the Lakota Local Schools as a curriculum consultant, a literacy coordinator, an instructional coach, and an English Language Arts teacher. She received an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Supervision at Miami University, where she also received her administrative license and undergraduate degree.
Director of Pupil Personnel
Steve joins the Ross Local Schools as the Director of Pupil Personnel after spending six years as a District Administrator in the Princeton City Schools. Steve has seventeen years of experience in public education, serving in a variety of building and central office Administrative roles during that time. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Xavier University and is currently finishing his Superintendent’s licensure at Miami University.
Steve and his wife Kimberly reside in Ross Township with their three children, Sydney, Keithen and Camden.
Director of Special Services
Diane joins the Ross Local School District from the Forest Hills School District. Diane's experience includes serving as the special education coordinator in the Forest Hills School District and Milford Exempted School District for 5 years and as a special education teacher and administrator in the Fairfield City Schools for 28 years. Diane received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education from Michigan State University and a master's degree in Supervision from Xavier University.
Diane resides in the Ross Community with her husband and daughter who both graduated from the Ross Local School District.
Director of Technology
Andy Klaber earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University. He began supporting technology in education in 1997 at Lakota Local Schools, where he worked for 3 years. He has served, for the past 17 years, as the Director of Technology for the Ross Local School District.
Shelli Turco has worked in school nursing for over 20 years. Prior to coming to Ross, she worked at Lakota Local Schools and at the Butler County Educational Services Center. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and school nurse certification from the College of Mount St. Joseph.
Devin Huff worked in the commercial HVAC industry for over eleven years. Six of those years he maintained and operated all the HVAC equipment for Mt. Healthy City Schools, while also performing other general maintenance duties. He is a lifelong Ross resident and graduated from Ross High School. Devin and his wife Diane currently live in Morgan Township.
Director of Transportation
Peggy Lehmann has over twenty-seven years experience in Ross Transportation Department and has lived in the district for many decades. She holds many degrees of certifications including Commercial Driver License class B with the endorsements of passenger and school bus. She has been a CDL trainer since 1995. Peggy has been married for forty-three years to her husband Doug. They have three children, Cory, Leah, and Shawn.
Principal, Ross High School
Brian Martin earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his master’s degree from Xavier University. He began his career in education in the Madison Local School District and then continued with the Oak Hills Local School District where he served as a social studies teacher and counselor. Mr. Martin next served as the assistant principal of Indian Hill Middle School for four years, before becoming an assistant principal, then principal, of Little Miami High School. He became the principal at Ross High School in 2011. He resides in Hamilton with his wife, Jill and his two daughters.

Emily Doblinger graduated with a BA in education and history from the University of Toledo and her MEd in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to coming to Ross, Emily taught Social Studies in Hamilton City Schools for five years and Wyoming City Schools for three years. Last year, Emily was the Dean of Students at Wyoming Middle School in Wyoming City School District.

Chris Saylor began his career in 1994 as a mathematics teacher for the Hamilton School District. He has served as a building administrator at Ross Middle School since 2000 and has held his current role as Ross Middle School principal since the 2004-2005 school year. His undergraduate work was completed at the College of Mt. St. Joseph, and his graduate degree is from Miami University.
Assistant Principal, Ross Middle School
Tony Albrinck joined the Ross Middle School staff in 2013 as the assistant principal after serving eleven years as a Language Arts teacher at Harrison Junior High School. He completed his undergraduate work in English Education at Indiana State University in 2001 and graduate work in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati in 2006. He currently resides in Ross with his wife Becky and three children.
Principal, Elda Elementary School
Adam Hull joins the Ross Local School District after spending the last 16 years in the Northwest Local School District. Adam has served the last four years as the Assistant Principal at White Oak Middle school. He has also held the positions of dean of students, teacher, and coach. Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati.
|Principal, Morgan Elementary School
Tom Perry graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1988 and a Masters in Education in 1991. He has eight years of teaching experience in grades four, five, and six. He was also the Assistant Principal at Ross Middle School for five years and has held his current role as principal at Morgan Elementary since 2001.
